Good to see that the door capping's have now come to fruition as per Trebor's photos.

Many of you may not be aware but I made up my own of similar shape using thin ply and real walnut veneer.

I simply bonded them onto the door cards using a regular bond like no nails. During this summer's intense heat I have not experienced any problem whatsoever with them lifting off etc. so I would anticipate this method of bonding would also suffice for Simons product.

Here's a shot of one of my rear doors



and one showing the front including my dash.


I also have Simons rear cubby box inlay complimented with chromed cups ex Vanden Plas 1300

Just to let you all know that I have sent the Blank Fascia to Simon for making the Walnut fascia for the New ANDROID HEAD UNIT . We will also be ordering 10 to have in Clacton on Sea so if anyone wants them , we can send from there , As after fit or with the head units as they are sent out.
