Ah, but was yours 20,000 miles only.

Normally the cables get stretched because the owner doesn't know how to get over the problem.--Just simply keeps pulling the hand brake up until it's under his armpit.--

Self inflicted injury.----One of the R75s little foibles.--If you have the knowledge then the cables don't get stretched.

When you become a member of this forum then this gem of knowledge gets passed on down to you.--

How many drivers do you see sitting with their foot on the footbrake for long periods rather than using the handbrake? It's not just automatics, it's virtually everybody!

I think this is getting more & more common due to hill assist on modern cars. My wife's newish Mitsubishi ASX has this and its so easy to use instead of handbrake (or lazier). Obviously, this doesn't apply to 75 / ZT's
