Default Redex has cured vibration

Till last month I had put Redex in the snake-oil category, but reading the recent post about the Wonders of Redex I thought I'd try some but without any expectations whatsoever of curing increasing vibration when going through 1800 - 2000 RPM in my diesel. It had got so bad I could have shut my eyes and told you what RPM or speed I was doing simply by the resonance. But, stone me crows, it has cleared it. Now after two tank-fulls and a half bottle of Redex each time something has entirely smoothed out acceleration. I would never have believed it . . .

What aspect it solved I have no idea.
