A happy and healthy new year to all. A quiet night in for us, watching Andre Rieu and crew doing their thing, so went to bed (before 12) with a smile on my face, only to be woken up by fireworks at 12! Good sleep after that and a glass of Irish whisky. All quiet here this morning and looks like a sunny day ahead, so off for a walk. May even polish Spotty the Sportage if the fine weather keeps up.

Saw a 75 for sale in the little garage next to Roys of Wroxham car park but "must resist". The knees and back don't work "proper" and a crane wouldn't look right on the roof!

All the best to all.

Cool

Just out of bed. Not feeling well at all. Still life goes on and I best get on with it.

Grey start to the day but at least it’s not raining, yet.

Morning all? Afternoon all? Evening all? If it hadn't been for the fireworks waking me up last night I wouldn't have a clue what day it is.

I can manage to get out of bed for a short period only then feeling very weak & woozy so I'm staying in bed & sleeping it off.

Still feeling dreadful with a swollen dry sore tongue, mouthful of ulcers & all the skin on my lips peeling off, WTHeck is this Strep virus?
Happy new year to everyone.

Happy New Year to one and all, only my Lord and Master will know what the New Year will have in store for me, we have a Bungalow, with a pitched roof leading onto a flat roof the upshot is the pitched roof is letting in water and running down and seeping in between the flat part and insulation and into our bedroom, this means taking off sections of solar panels, so as too get to the tiles and also a section of the flat part to see what water damage it has caused in between the layers, we know the water is not getting into our bedroom other than the area noticed.
We are insured the Tesco, but they don't want to know because it is not storm damage.

Oh! happy days.

All our Tom&Dick chillouters, hope you start feeling better soon guys.

Julien, hope you can get your leaking roof sorted fairly easily and at not too much cost...Certainly not what you need to welcome in the New Year.

Lunch/dinner early today as going to watch back to back football matches this afternoon.

Getting in is easy (gravity helps). It's the getting out that's the problem!
Have a good year.

I've always wondered about solar panels on tiled roofs and if it could lead to problems. We had a cracked tile and deteriorated felt underneath so the drips ran straight down the interior wall below the leak. Luckily, they could shove a few tiles back up the roof, strip out the bad felt and batten, then replace, without having to scaffold etc. £120 (cash in hand) all in - result!

Hope that yours is a simple fix.
