Default Tyres required.

Need new tyres on the car and also full wheel alignment.

So 2 questions;

1) Where's best around South Wales to get the alignment setup correctly.

2) Any good deals on new tyres around at the moment? I need a set of four. P Zero's on at the moment but can't see my budget stretching to that.

Thanks.

Go for Nexen N8000's, had them on my BMW and now my ZT and they are excellent, price is unbelievable to, on average £67 each although I got them trade for £57 each . kwikfit/Stapletons are sole distributors .

Not in the area so cannot advise on alignments unfortunately

Mixed reviews on these tyres on the old tinternet...some say alot of road noise so some quite quiet.

Would be interesting to know what you find now you have used them for a few months.

What size tyres are recommended for the Rover 75? and is it Ok to use H rating tyres instead of V rating? There is such a difference in price and will never achieve speeds that are stated as maximum.

I doesn't matter if you personally will not achieve the speeds, they are rated for the car.
H rated is no good for a 2.5V6, I am afraid.

It depends what size wheels you have. Mine are 16 inch and are 215/55 R16s, or if you have 15 inch they are 205/60 R15s.
Minimum V rated.

I have found that the speed rating has little effect on the price, but the 16 inch ones are a good deal more expensive than 15 inch.
