Beware the new Quashai !!
Nissan has proudly announced that their new generation Quashai will feature wider opening rear doors to help with the kiddywinkies. They will now open to 85 degrees, which will mean even more supermarket dings! God help us!

Many supermarket shoppers are so bone idle that parking as close to the entrance as possible is a way of life. Serves them right if they get dinged.
Most supermarket/retail parks have parent/children vehicle bays which are wider, so will there be a new section of even wider wide ones especially for new generation Quashai's? Always park in a remote bay, and, if it takes a minute or so to walk to the store entrance, then so be it. Gives peace of mind. |

The problem as I see it is that so-called councils have for too long gotten away with dumping unfit for use parking spaces on the nation at large. Call me old fashioned but I don't think that they should assume if not expect that everyone who will use such a space is a contortionist.

sorry, it does not serve them right if they get their car damaged, that is quite offensive to anyone that has had their car damaged by someone's car door. macafee2 |

Just a wild guess, your BRG Connie (Tourer) didn't by any chance create a hazmat incident in a Cheshire supermarket carpark yesterday

I thought they all used those handy 'family' parking spots. You know, the ones opposite the 48 empty disabled places (2 of the disabled places tend to get used: - one by a worker in store, and the other by the one regular local with a disabled badge). Or are those just for chelsea tractors and german cars to make it easier to park without having to be paralell to the lines (or even between them)?
