The new bridge at Great Yarmouth is opening soon. Don't tell a certain boatowner or the rain will be back!

Looks like everyone is having a lie in this morning

Better under the duvet, than out in the cold

Have a nice day everyone and take care

Been busy photographing and listing more of my "junk"! It seems that one man's junk is another man's treasure!
Once more into the shed/garage methinks!
I've got to pay for all these AK7500's I've been buying for the lads for Christmas!

Ah . . . . the Pacer . . . . gearbox by Cadbury. Thank God they never made it into the Scottish Region.

I went to check the forum via my iPhone and got a message advising me to change my password due to a "data leak"

Evening all.

Sorry for being awol the last few days.
Been a bit busy.
Had to get three new leisure batteries for Lady Emma. One had gone dead so as they are a bank of three and they are at least six years old. Prudent change the lot. £400 lighter now

Today Ros and I took her out for her first gentle cruise since Lady Emma arrived in Walton. A bit grey and nippy but calm waters were inviting.

Took her up to Hanford Nature reserve. Stopped in the Walton Channel and had a spot of lunch before a gentle cruise back to the marina. It was mainly to familiarise ourselves with the navigation channel in and out of the marina and where the bouys are and where to turn to keep water underneath, especially at low states of the tide. Think Breydon water but much larger and without handy posts telling you where the channel is!

Hope everyone is fit and well and getting ready for Christmas

What a wonderful way to spend the day. Enjoy in good health. Triple batteries for peace of mind. I remember, being told, by the person who sold me a boat, that once that I had paid her, I would be paying until the day that I sold the boat to someone else. She was not wrong! I did, however, thoroughly enjoy the experience!
