Hmm . . . . unusual. Had a flight of five RAF aircraft fly over the house in a V formation earlier, four I presume were Typhoons but the leading one looked larger, couldn't make it out, too far away. Very rarely get military flights over here, several flightpaths from Turnhouse in the area.

Morning everyone,I am back from deepest Norfolk, grass cutting on the agenda today whilst the sun is still shining.

My mighty canaries continued their upward journey with a 4-4 draw at Southampton

Soon I'll find repose

And then I'll hold you in my dreams

Morning peeps,

Sorry for my absence on here over the last few days.

It's been a busy last few weeks with work, not that I'm complaining!

We were donated some diced beef from our neighbour yesterday.
It has to be used today so I've bunged it in the slow cooker to make a beef casserole for supper tonight

Wasn't big enough for that Jeff. It appeared larger than the other four but only marginally, could just have been the way I was seeing it As I said its very rare to get any military air traffic over here, one of the primary flightpaths from Turnhouse passes over us.

Shopping done in quick sticks but so much for a dry day forecast Steady light rain now so the lawn mowing can wait.

Lots of action this way pretty often as the Russians apparently testing our airspace quick reaction responses !

Not sure that would be the case for you as a bit of overkill in the amount of aircraft you saw.
