I have to agree with you Glenn, I think the new Mondeo looks great as well, love the 'Aston Martin' styled grill, gives the car a wee bit presence.

I saw one in Haddington last weekend in a lovely metallic Red..Stunning !!!

Although good looking I have read reports that the handling is not up to par with current marques and worst than the previous model.

No. Quite the revers in fact. If you look at the XF, the lines of it are very similar to that of the Mondeo though on a slightly larger scale.
The design of the XF is credited to Ian Callum, Jaguar's Chief Designer, but I think there is more than a just shade of Ford influcence in the XFs appearance.
Now Ford no longer own Jaguar and now some years down the line since they did, maybe we will see a change in the future of Jaguar styling, just so that they encompass a little more of what a Jaguar should look like.
At moment some of the main stream models have lost their "Jaguarness" so to speak and tend to look like many other Japanees or Euro box designs.
Having said that, I must say that the Mondeo over the years, has grown into quite a handsome looking car, with the latest edition more than continuing that trend.
Regards
Telfer.

I hope they have sorted that awful 2.0cdti engine with its very dodgy clutch.

It does look nice but, at the end of the day, it's still a Mundano
