Gear change/clutch
Just driven to Fleetwood from Coventry, all fine until last twenty miles or so when gear change became very notchy and almost impossible to get in. Clutch hasn't been slipping and feels like it might be okay- still notice change in revs when depressed. There is also a bit of a rattle. Any idea what it might be and anyone know of good garage nearby? In RAC so should be able to get home on Monday but have 9 year old and a dog so would prefer not to rely on that option!

Wouldn't I lose the pedal if it was slave or master? It depresses and comes back okay. Could it be as straightforward as losing oil? Away for weekend so not really in position to do anything other than either nurse to a garage or RAC.

Not noticeably. Now it's daylight I've had a look and I have two spots of clear fluid underneath the engine. One under the battery area and one across from there. Also seems to be a cable hanging lower than I recall. Guessing this suggests that it's one or both cylinders that have gone?

RAC chap doesn't think it's clutch- reckons it's a gear selector issue as in neutral it seems to want to go. Any ideas what it might need?
