rover 75 cdti crankshaft
hi to all
i have a question about the m47 crankshaft i have noticed that there is a bearing in the crankshaft where the flywheel and clutch assembly attach does the gearbox input shaft go into to and locate into this bearing because the bearing on my crankshaft is pushed in 12mm and looking on the internet the photos show that the bearing is near the top of the crankshaft can anyone clarify this or post a photo david |

As far as I know David there is a spigot bearing in the DMF, but it isn't used by the Getrag gearbox fitted to our cars.
