Evening all, just had Meg to the vets for her booster jab, a quick trip into pets at home for a new ball as a treat, she's now curled up on the settee following a walk in the woods on the way home.

Cool

I took a dog for a walk today, or she dragged me up the street to the park.
She is a Belgian Shepherd called Alexa. Debbie, who cut my hair today, had a nasty fall last month on black ice and has tissue damage to her shoulder so taking the dog for a walk is a bit of a job. But I have lots of time on my hands so I offered to do the job today.

Debbie came along to show me where we were going. It’s going to be a regular job for me till Debbie fully recovers.

What a lovely thing to do.

Give it a few days and you'll be absorbed into Alexa's pack and then you'll be - I think the phrase is - house trained .

Maybe teaching granny to suck eggs but remember that dogs are incredibly tuned in to moods and needs.

Enjoy yourselves .

I wonder how long it will be before you decide to get a dog yourself Bob.
