On 25th March 2005 a dealer communication (sa/05/022) was released indicating the introduction of SVP models. In which MGR managed to call it both "Special Value Pack" and Spring Valve Pack" SVP applied to both 75 and ZT.

Over and above the usual Classic spec:

Black Leather seats
Smart Nav
16"Multi spoke wheels (Contemporary Spec wheel)
Metallic paint.

ZT SVP was entry spec + the following.

Part leather
Smart Nav
Space saver wheel
18" 11 spoke alloys
metallic paint.

Reebs managed to locate a copy of the dealer communication, but I have archived my copy.

Hope this helps.

Full research is available in the Rover 75/ MG ZT story book by James Taylor. Available from good old Amazon.

My research was made easier as I own a 2005MY Classic CDTi 131 and had a Classic SVP CDTi 131 from new.
Many thanks for this confirmatory update. I'll search out the James Taylor book! ED

There was a two page article on the SVPs in one of the issues of the Enthusiasts Magazine if I remember rightly.

I'd very much like to see that.
