Default QE2 Bridge closure

I'm currently progressing in yards on the A13. Heater on full high econ with three windows open for the wind to take the heat away. Temp at a steady 90/91.

Deep joy!

Is it quite bad the traffic? I've got to head home from the A1 Borehamwood to Corringham soon, expected the traffic to be bad to decided to work late than to be stuck in that traffic. I'll be taking the A127 then A128 route so hopefully will miss it! Good luck!

In work at last, gotta go out there again soon.

I wouldn't have liked to have done that journey in my P6. Very pleased with the way the 75 performed under those circumstances.

high winds always cause problems there - I imagine they shut the bridge and it was down to the tunnels only.

Horrible. You have my sympathies

Should be OK in about 10 years time when they build the new crossing as they are proposing twin tunnels in both directions.

I recall the tunnels coped pretty well before the bridge opened. They can't any more.
