My Gear selector display had some horrid marks on it, so i sourced an entirely new one and replaced it today. This also gave me the ability to swap some parts of it with the Dorchester V6. Quick win all round.
Also got hold of some mudflaps for this car - 2 clips missing, but once these are located I will fit them.

update on remaining to do's:
put Serpents on (Spring) fix and wire in passenger powerfold mirror fit mudflaps engine bay clean up full paint correction panel by panel (de-tar, fallout removal, clay, correct, polish and wax) that should do it nicely. should have been done last year, but its not always the way it all works out.

A new addition to the car - both cars got this treatment:
official mg rover seat tidies, solve a storage problem with my families tendency to overfill map pockets with things that should never go anywhere near them.

The paintwork on this car needs more attention to take it to the next level. Hence I have purchased the ludicrously named 'Buff Daddy' DAS-6 polisher from Dodo Juice.
I am looking forward to getting this working, just waiting on the pads I need.

very busy today preparing to use my new DA polisher. the paintwork must be right for this first though. Which means clay barring.
Which means prepping for a claying too. Which means using Tardis(gratefully recived as a free gift from Steve1975) as a Tar remover, and Dragons breath as a fallout remover. So today I spent doing the following , in order: Washing car drying applying Tardis with a brush panel by panel washing drying applying Dragons Breath with a brush panel by panel washing drying full complete wash with fresh water and a new lambswool mitt. Drying. This was a long and busy day, and coping with the smell of the Dragons Breath. I find it quite amusing that all of this effort was but prep work for the prep work before I can begin polishing in anger
