Default Advice on 12v domestic LED bulbs required

I want to replace my 12v G4 Halogen bulbs with G4 LED bulbs.
This is what I have https://www.amazon.co.uk/Halogen-Lig...rds=12v+20w-g4

I am thinking of replacing them with something like this
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Rayhoo-Crys...v+20w-g4&psc=1

The Halogen light fitting is of poor design. The heat on the contacts and pins is quite a lot and over time seems to form some corrosion and the bulbs stop working. I have had enough of taking them apart, cleaning and putting back together.

Am I liable to suffer from flicker with Led's? I think not as they are DC supplied. I know length may be an issue but that is for later for me to look into

Any pit falls you can think of?

thank you in advance

Not used the bulbs that you have shown, but put a 12 volt DC LED system in the bathroom - totally flicker free.

Also, put mains powered LED's in the kitchen.

Both systems have been in for about 4 years now and no blown units, or even single LED cells yet as far as I can tell.

I even bought some spares for our LED kitchen lights 4 years and have not even opened the packets yet.

The lights are left on 24 hours for our dogs at night without a single failure up to now.

However they are 240 volts but only take 1 watt each.--

Lots of light with virtually no heat at all.---Amazing.

Our 12 volt lights with filament bulbs are constantly going wrong under our cupboard units.

Avoid this type like the plague. They also take 10 times more power than the LEDs

when you say wrong do you mean blowing? if you do they may in fact have the same fault as mine.

I'm sure you don't really mean 1amp each, 1 amp at 240 volts is 240 watts - they would be running red hot.

Depends on the transformers as to whether you get flicker.

I've tried the cheap stuff and not been impressed, but have had good experience with stuff from LED Hut. It's not cheap (hardly expensive though).
