New Gear lever Gaiter Fitted Today
Well now I have my 75 1.8t back I thought I would get a niggling job done
The old gear lever gaiter had seen better days and had all split and degraded, it looks like its made of PVC with a sort of sponge lining So on Wednesday I ordered a real leather one off eBay for £8.99 delivered and on Thursday morning it arrived Quality of the leather and stitching is fantastic and its cut to the pattern of the original part so is a direct fit, so off with old and on with the new, it took about 20mins, only extra you need is some glue to put around the inside of the bottom of the gaiter to help hold it in place as per the original fitting, I have to say it looks fantastic and makes a huge difference Last edited by tidus72; 5th March 2016 at 16:51.. |

I had an armrest cover from them recently but it was pretty dreadful & fitted like a potato sack. I still have the thing though they refunded my money with no problem.
When they asked for it, I didn't fancy sending my cover as a pattern for them. As I told them, the armrests are all the same & they should already have one.
