Default Diesel injector removal advice?

Going to attempt to change a couple of injectors on Connie 75 Diesel and just want to make sure I've got what I need to cover some eventualities before I start.

No 1 and 2 injectors are coming out and I've read that no 1 can be a struggle. Don't want to buy a massive kit for a job I'll likely do once so can anyone recommend the most basic kit needed? If anyone's got one sitting in their garage in the North Staffs area, I'd be happy to pay £20 to borrow one for a weekend.

Read that a dowsing in vinegar is a good way to loosen the injector. Cobblers and stick with WD40.. or use something else I haven't considered yet? I've got a set of copper washers to replace current ones. Any other parts required other than the injectors themselves?

You don't always need the special tool - mine came out without an issue.

If your worried - it'd be better to prep them first.

Make sure the engine is hot.

Artic has recently ( week or 2 ago ) done a great how to. Search for his name and diesel injectors.

Plus gas will do the job MUCH better than WD40. It will get in where other penetrating oils fail.

Plus use Arctics How To.---

Done three of these and all I used to get it out once everything was removed was a good flat bladed screwdriver.

I have a technique that few mention.
Old wheel bolt off my old lexus gs is an exact fit for the pipe inlet.
Corresponding spanner allows for much more wiggle with no fear of broken plastic.

Much success too be had. I have 19 more of these wheel nuts if anyone wants one.

Do you mean a deep nut? It looks like a good idea if I see it correctly. I presume there's a large washer under the nut in contact with the manifold ferrule?
