Silicone overspray removal
I've just been using a Turtle Headlamp Lens Cleaning Kit on my 2005 75.
It's very effective, but I did not realise until I checked with Turtle UK, that the final sealing coat contains Silicone. Can esteemed members suggest a suitable solvent? I'm sure I'm not the first with this query! |

Got to a car body shop suppliers, you can get panel wipes which you use before painting which removes silicone and other contaminants - silicone is the worst thing you want when painting as it reacts and you end up with a finish covered in 'fish eyes'

The silicone is there to protect the plastic lenses. Why do you want to remove it ???
However don't go near any windows especially the windscreen as it's the devil to remove and can make them very smeary in the rain.---( Difficult to see through.--- ) |

It's to clean off the Overspray. I'll leave it on the polycarbonate.
