I ordered one from dmgrs.
Hopefully that will solve the problem. I will still test the box solenoids.

Hi all,

I've got a little question. Apparently the diesel mounts are no longer available. Does that mean DGMRS are selling petrol mounts to be used in diesel cars ? If so, what's the difference and will it last ?

Having had over the years an original , a yellow Powerflex slotted , a DMGRS one and now a "Supposed" Diesel OEM aftermarket..

Theres almost no difference really between the multi type DMGRS one and the Powerflex , maybe the original was best but that was a long time back to actually remember .

So sticking with the "Aftermarket" Diesel for the time being

The diesel version is different from the gasoline. The engine support must support more torque on diesel engine.
I had changed the engine mount on my diesel by putting a gasoline version but this was not good, by putting the original part the vibrations disappeared.

Hi Pete.
Diesel mounts are still available albeit over priced, and now with a yellow dot on, which is supposed to point out the fact that the 1.8 mould as been used to manufacture the product due to the original letter T mould was
destroyed, which is open to abuse which i have stated quite a few times.

This mount below is about £35 over priced in my opinion also it is advertised with the letter T stamped on it, it will not come with that on it, so therefore should not be advertised as such, change the photo it's not hard, the seller does however explain this in the listing, but as i say we have to trust these sellers that they are being truthful with the public?

The one mount fits all cars from DMGRS will most likely be one of these below, remembering that when Rover was taken over they never made a diesel model, the mount for the 2.0 2.5 on a diesel may well last but how long only time will tell, keep well clear of the 1.8 mount.

It’s already better: I no longer feel the blow in R and D. Only during a strong acceleration, I can feel a clunk. I’ll check the solenoids.

I didn’t pay attention while working on the car.
I’ll test the solenoids tomorrow and keep you informed.
