Just checking my door sill and noticed a sticker with MG ZT commissioned number : 9014 on it does this mean mine was 9014th off the line ?

Commission number is largely irrelevant and bears no relation to what order the car came off the ZT line. The commission number covered every MG model, 200 could be a ZT, 201 a ZS, 202 a ZR etc.

Such a shame that MG Rover bosses sat down and said " Right lads , i want you all to shout out the first number that comes into your heads . Shirly here will write it down ". If only they meant something, anything would have done .Oh yes it was , it was the first number they thought of .
