I get the two mixed up -but suffice to say it happened to me a couple of years ago - thanks for clarifying.

Well I can qualify the battery has had it, after 6hrs charging off the motor, it read 3volts across the terminals, so I have one on order. I will start to look at the points you have pointed out. My gut feeling is there is a K bus issue and this battery episode in possibly coincidental. Once I can establish the charging rate is ok, then I may have to look further. Any guidance in working through this will be a help. Thanks again.

Just to advise the battery experts on the site ie Colvert will advise you to charge for at least 24 hours to ascertain the true state of the battery and its charge holding.
