Question Breakdown - Fuel Pump?

Wife borrowed my 75 CDTi yesterday, but it wouldn't start when she tried to come home. RAC called out and diagnosed the under bonnet fuel pump and got it going again by tapping the fuel pump with a screw driver. (Great service from RAC who followed her home to make sure it didn't break down again and even gave her a lift back to work!).
So, it looks like i need a new pump. Genuine Pierburg OEM is ridiculously priced.
Has anyone tried this one from DMGRS?

HI Richard.
Drop Andrew a message about the above i am sure he will put you in the picture

Personally i would rather fit a known good second hand pierburg before fitting any after market pumps if income is tight at the moment also you will find genuine pierburg on Auto Doc and other places.

Drop me a PM if you like i may be able to help.

Yep I fitted one last December. Easy to change and so far is A1.
