Gave it a good scrub and top up of the ceramic coating. Main thing was finally getting round to cleaning out the window strips that scratch our windows and the lumps of gunk that got cleaned out was unbelievable. Good thing is now they have been cleaned there is an audible difference when the windows go up and down so was obviously long overdue

Finally got the OEM Sony DVD player installed, only to discover it will only play region 1 dvds!
If anyone is thinking of retrofitting the sony DVD system DONT it’s a nightmare.

Yeah I decided all the original ice equipment was not worth a jot.
I installed a Pioneer head unit (Avh-9200dab I think) that does everything inc DVDs. So nice and reliable!! Tilting screen as well!!!
The screen face even matches the but walnut finish of my dash!!

No, just the ball joint, not a bad result.

Finished off touching up the exhaust with heat resistant paint, then cleaning up the underseal and recoating, before clear waxing the brake pipes, subframes and rear arms, ready for the MOT next week. So great to have a summertime MOT so that you can work on it in the better weather! Last year, I put a thin coat of red rubber grease on all the dust seals, gaiters and rubber brake pipes. It works! All lovely, not dried out and cracked as in the past. It seems to preserve them better.
