Were you born in Antarctica?
I'm just filling in my DVLA application to renew my Over 70 driving licence on-line, and you come to a box asking where you were born. To my considerable amazement the drop down box shows first Afghanistan - fair enough - but then closely followed by Antarctica? Would be curious to know how many babies have been born in Antarctica, ever. I know Nansen was reputed to have had an affair with Kathleen, Capt Scott's wife, while Scott was trudging to the pole, but I don't think there was any issue, apart from Peter, and I don't think he was born in a tent.
Well you can't blame the Govt for not being thorough.

And finally . . . If you reach the last page you're asked if you want to join the organ donor scheme. Fair enough but bearing in mind that this is for the Over 70s, is any surgeon likely to extract my worn out heart/corneas/kidneys and other once useful parts to stitch into a more youthful body?
