Cool

Morning everyone.

Ok, who pinched the sun. Cloudy start to the day.

Off up to Matt’s today to change the throttle body over and to check the handbrake shoes.

We bought a SEBO from these folks:

https://seboshop.co.uk/sebo-vacuum-c...vacuum-cleaner

They've always given us great advice and great service and they were right. The one we had picks up Quizzie's hairs a treat.

We had a Dyson from them a long while ago which gave stirling service. I'm not so sure that the new ones are as solid & reliable.

Happy shopping. .

I went off Dyson when he upped sticks and moved production to the far east because it was cheaper . . . . didn't reduce the prices though did he That and we had an all singing all dancing Dyson washing machine. Refused to pay the ridiculous fee for an extended warranty, just a couple of weeks after the warranty expired the machine started flashing a fault code and phone number. An internet search found how to clear the fault but I still refuse to believe a fault just after the warranty expired was a coincidence.

Has anyone heard anything from Rod?

Seen the Green Woodpecker this morning.

It' been a long while since he/she's been around - or at least seen to be around.

Does that mean summer's over?

Lie down . . . . less chance of it hitting you as well.

Had the Vax in bits again, stuck the new belt in just in case, nope, still not working. No obvious reasons, loose wire etc so suspect the motor has given up the ghost. Humped a "spare" hoover up from the garage, bl00dy brush bar isn't turning on it either Got one more old hoover in the garage, think I'll see if the brush bar works before I bring it up!

Spare hoover #2 works but its kinda lame, that's why we replaced it with a better one, that's currently spare hoover #1. Spare hoover #1, the first one I brought up from the garage, the belt is snapped, that's why the brush bar wasn't turning. Might get a new belt for it, was the better hoover and a pack of two belts is only £2.75. I'm not expecting to be able to resurrect the Vax.

Cool

Not a very good day after all but at least it didn’t rain.

Had to get the AA out again, Banana threw yet another dummy out of the pram. Athena mechanic was determined to find out what was wrong. Eventually the fuel pump relay was found to at fault. Still at least she will start.

The chicken I got out of the freezer yesterday for today’s dinner didn’t smell right. So I binned that.
Had burger n chips for dinner.
