Morning all.

Been missing for a few days as we've been away but now back at home with our 22 month old grandson staying for a few days.

It's his first time away from mum & dad but he's got Quizzie to look after him .

Completely forgotten just how exhausting youngsters are . But enjoying his love and giggles.

I'm sure we'll manage to muck up his routines and spoil him rotten before he goes home on Sunday .

The weather is set to be decent here so we'll be getting him out and about and hopefully wearing him out - sleeping youngsters don't need your total attention on them .

Makes looking after a 75 seem like a doddle

Good afternoon everyone from a wet and rainy Dublin. I am just going out for groceries, Jessica is resting as her back is playing up, last October she sustained 3 compression fractures to her spine and the treatment was non surgical using a brace and physio. She did improve but these past few days she is finding walking a struggle. Fortunately I am okay, but after we get to England I will have Jessica reassessed.

Afternoon all from a lovely sunny Hartlepool

Had a stress free drive here and stopped off at Robin Hood's Bay on the way.

Robin Hood’s Bay by Jeff Cranwell, on Flickr

Going to have a shower, then a look round the Marina where our Premier Inn hotel is situated. Then dive into the Brewers Fayre which is alongside the Hotel.

We have Breakfasts booked for tomorrow, Sunday and Monday as well

Will probably find somewhere more posh for dinner tomorrow after the motor racing at Croft

Morning all, It's a bright sunny start to the day here with sun streaming into the conservatory, Doesn't look like it's going to last though.

Morning everyone Yesterday I managed to get some stick on painkiller and anti inflammatory patches for Jessica’s back, so last night we were able to go out to a restaurant for dinner with the relatives. I had my first Guinness, several went down a treat. This afternoon we are going on a coach tour, not sure if the patches will work for Jessica, but have to try
