When I was younger we had a Doberman who loved the heat, couldn't lie any closer to the fire, one of those enclosed, glass fronted jobs. Every now and then you'd hear TSSST as her nose touched the glass
Rain has eased off now but wind is still wild. |

Evening Steve, back from the pub now, the weather here has turned cold although the rain has finally stopped, Meg is now asleep on the rug following her night in the pub 🤣

Morning everyone.
Nice red sunrise this morning. Getting the house ready for my visitor, hoping my niece is coming for a visit.

Morning all.
Clear blue sky and chilly following the Biblical storm last night. Looks like wrap up and outside jobs today. Quizzie's a bit of a heat fiend as well - but not like your Dobermann Steve And on the subject of heat we've succumbed and put the boiler in. As it's coal fired - Greta loves us really - it'll stay that way until the spring. Unfortunately, while we were having the floor tiled, we've put the coal scuttle in that really sensible and safe place that we can't find now. So we've a coal "bucket" at the moment until we can find the scuttle . |

Nice photo Andy of the dog, the sheep and all that fresh country air.
Afternoon all Today we are having a visit from the heating engineer and hopefully we will be able to have a hot shower and enjoy the heating after. The novelty of manning up to a cold shower has worn off. I have just given BT notice as I am out of contract and got fed up of them charging me 42 GBP per month. I tried to get a better deal, but it was impossible to get through and speak to anyone. I have called it a day |

The estate agent told us not to worry about repainting or doing it up, as the next buyer will gut everything out...... Enjoy the day |
