Default power drain rover 75 tourer

hi all i bought a 75 tourer with the intentions of using as a donor car but have decided as it is a decent car to put it on the road eventually i have had the headlining recovered fixed (hopefully) water leaks still needs brakes fixed but i have a power drain problem i keep the battery disconnected as it is not in use but decided to start it and leave it running at the side of the house what i noticed is there is the airbag light and the brake warning light which i expect to be on but when i turn on the side lights they go dim which i don't think that is right there is no alternator light coming on when the engine is running but any other light that is on goes dim when i switch on the side lights i new there was a battery drain but didn't expect it with the engine running any advice really appreciated thanks in advance

I bought one with a drain; it was the sat nav thingy; puller the fuse with the promise to get around to sorting it one day (that day is not here yet!) Good luck with the search.

You do have a meter - the car's own OBD system. Activate the OBD using T-Cut's guide, section 9. (https://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/for...ad.php?t=55585)
