Bluemalbert blown engine in Germany
Just had a message from Malcolm who has blown his engine in Germany. He cannot access the Forum easily. He is asking for someone to check out this donor Vin Number SARRJLLFF503490621. Presumably to see if the engine is compatible. No idea where it is. I am out to the Bath Road Club (Cycling) Dinner tonight.
Can anyone help? Last edited by harrisop48; 28th January 2018 at 18:05.. |

I have sent Reebs a pm with Malcolm’s phone no and the problem he has with the car. Hopefully Paul will have access to the engine build data etc and will be able to give Malcolm the information he needs urgently.

The VIN quoted (SARRJLLFF503490621) has a zero instead of a D and has a '1' too many at the end It should read as follows (SARRJLLFF5D349062) and here is it's build record... 14 Digit VIN: Off_assembly_date YYYY-MM-DD: Off_assembly_time: Brochure_model_code: Brochure_model_desc: Sales_model_derivative: Sales_model_derivative_desc: Model_year: Home_export: Country: Paint_code: Exterior_paint: Trim_code: Interior_trim: Engine: Trimlevel: Bodytype: Hand_of_drive: Manual_auto: RJLLFF5D349062 2005-01-13 11:12:03 RJLLF ZT M2 Plus Saloon 2.5 KV6 (190) RNZLF MG ZT + 190 2005 HOME GREAT BRITAIN JGY Mica Blue (Ignition) PWH Summit/PVC (Black) 2500 NA 190Bhp TL 7.1 (M2) ZT RHD M So I can confirm it's a V6 190 engine and comes in Ignition Blue as required. I hope that helps. |
