Default OBD Service Display setting tools

Can anyone tell me whether an OBD11 unit will work in a pre 2001 Rover 75?
There seem to be plenty of these tools available, but the OBD1 seem to have vanished and my car is a 2000.

The service reminder reset is such a simple procedure that almost anything will suffice. We all used a paperclip way back when. Then the £6 resetter gizmos from China apeared on eBay, so we all bought one of those.

A formal OBD code reader isn't needed for a service display reset.

Can TOAF do it? I've never looked, as somebody services my car for me...

Then you'd only need a £6 cable

Yes, believe that it's within the IPK (or IKE) module

Yes and it can also change the oil and service times. So if like me who likes to change the oil every 6000 miles, the service figure can be changed to that
