Rover75 front window screen

Hi could somebody help me car has failed the mot on a cracked screen claimed off the insurance 2 days b4 the mot was due rover 75 is a mark 1 2003 2.5 manual does not have the rain sensor fitter turned up on the 10/06/21 with a new screen of course brought the wrong screen so rang his company I now have to wait until the 29/06/21 . How many types of screens are there for this model talk about 24 hour glass replacement more like a month I can’t wait until my insurance runs out in September!

As far as I know - just 2 - one with rain sensor or one without.

There is a 3rd option - a heated windscreen provided by the Trader Ricksta on here.

Rimmers have both screens in - as you see the one with a rain sensor is far more expensive.

Rick hasn't any available and no word of another batch. He had one spare after a cancelled order but it was grabbed!

I don't think the fitter could fit the wrong screen, or he would have done.
