Default ATTENTION PLEASE Navall 1 owners with Android 2.3

A Long Long time a coming !
The factory has made available Upgrade cards to officially upgrade to Android 4.0 But will not release the factory Firmware to us for general distribution like Navall 2 and Navall 3) .

They are making us PAY I Want to Pass it On at my Costs which are about £19.50 including SD Card and Postage. Most Chinese sellers are selling them for US39.00 PLUS postage and More in other cases.

Please contact me and We will get a list and order the ones that want to upgrade. Its tested and works quite well.

My Email [email protected]

Thanks

Sean

PS , I did put up a bit of a stink about it but they wouldnt budge !

Hi Sean,

In what differs this FW upgrade from the 4.0 version that was publicly available? I've done a bit of reading then and one major issue was performance (as in the HW was not up to the requirements of the FW). Is this FW optimized and performing adequately/good?

I think that paying for the upgrade is not such an issue. More the question is what does the upgrade do for us in practical terms.

It would be good to be able to see what they have fixed from the last public release.
I tried 4.0.3 and found numerous issues, i eventually returned to android 2.3.4
problems I had included

phone book not allowing contacts to be deleted and multiple entries.
AF not working
digital tv menu not correct
3rd party players not stopping radio so 2 lots of audio at same time.

until I see some proof of good software I will stick with 2.3.4

Mark AF doesn't work on My Navall 1 with v2.3.4 - I didn't think it worked on these units at all. The tick box is there, but it doesn't do anything.

Hi Jonnie

The "Rushed" or maybe better put, the release they sent last March "under duress" really never worked properly. I had sent out the update and retracted it 30 minutes later ! (causing me to implement SELF testing prior to issuing updates)

this one works , Is tested , and will install correctly.

Hi David
It Changes the Operating system completely from 2.3 to 4.0 , Most importantly making you eligible for many more downloads on PLAY

Oh what the hell. Put me down for one Sean, will give it a try. Can always go back to 2.3.4 if not happy.
Regards
Mark
