Hi Les,

Remove the GPS card and pop it in that slot.
Switch unit off and back on and it should automatically start installing.

Do not remove or switch unit off until the machine says install successful .
Your unit may make some funny noises and the screen may go off and back on whilst installing. This is normal

Updates all done and working fine. I cannot find the Rover Logo in the boot menu, found all the others apart from the best logo our Rover 75.

It does seem to run a bit quicker and smother. So pleased up to now apart from not finding the 75 logo

Hope everyone that does do the update goes as well as mine.

All received and it looks good

Only hitch is the music player. It doesn't seem to be displaying the pictures and the order of music seems all over the place.

Sean, can we also order this update in a few weeks? I'd like to wait and see some more info/pictures of the new update before choosing.

Update successful. My initial findings -

Radio App -

New search/autostore facility - worth the upgrade cost alone in my book!

Switching between bands - 99% of the time before, pressing BND to change actually changed to another preset on the same band - the new app seems to have cured this - again worth the upgrade cost alone, cos the band change thing was blinkin annoying.

AF - ticking the box seems to cause interference and the AF legend flickers on screen - this is more than it ever did before, but not (so far as I can see) how it should work - but I have only tested it on my driveway so far. My understanding is that AF should use RDS to retune to the strongest signal for the FM station already tuned (eg if tuned to R2, it retunes "silently" to various frequencies between 88.1 and 90.2 MHz as the car moves - more useful if you travel long distances or in areas on the edge fo two frequencies)

Music player

As with Simnodi for the files on my sd and USB memories, the artwork and Mp3 tags seem to have gone missing.

Nav

Needed to reinstall, now seems to be working fine.

Boot Logo

Found MG in the list - happy with that.

On the whole I am very pleased so far and I think it's definitely worth the modest cost - thanks to Jeff and Sean for the support we get on here.

Default Improving my Nav 1.

If these updates are still available, I will try one please.
I am told that the touch screen is much better.
Thank you,
egremont.
