Default New MG ZTT owner - Lock issue

Hi All

Just bought myself an MG ZTT 190. Had it just over a month an except the road tax and the locks its been great!

Annoyingly the doors will unlock with the key fob but wont lock, at the moment I get everyone out the car, press the inside lock button, let myself out and use the key in the door. I tried both keys and its the same, also, disconnected the battery for a few hours ands still the same, any ideas?

Regards

Barry

"Except the road tax"

Is it a late model V6?

Last year mine was £500 and was expecting it to be £535 this Spring but it looks like the rules have changed again and it will now be 'just' £305' as best as i can see on the Parkers and DVLA look-up sites.

Hi, Mine was £520, it was register in 2007 but built in 2003. I was told it was a LPG evaluation car and was not road registered till 2007.

Just £10 a week doesn't sound so bad. Hope I'm right about the new rate but the DVLA pages are unclear regarding 'late registrations'.
