Chrome strip attachment ...
Gents, what are the clips that hold the chrome strips onto the 75's bodywork? I've noticed that on the rear wing, driver's side (near the petrol cap flap), the end of the strip has come away from the bodywork and I'm worried about water getting in.
I tried to find them on Rimmer's Website, but I was a bit confused about whether I'd found the right one. |

the rear fixings are not clips they are bolts that are glued on to the trim.they are held on with nuts on the inside of the car the rest are clips.i used some stuff called i think called liquid steel from plastic padding.it is a two part resin glue mix it up poke under trim with the spatula provided push trim back wipe of excess hold with tape until set.or remove the trim and do the same.but as mine is a tourer and to remove involves taking half the car apart to get at the retaining nuts i did it in situ still ok after two years

Bond a new bolt on with JB Weld. I fixed mine this way over two years ago still in place.
