Don’t mean to ask the obvious, but have you pressed the “power on” button on the radio?
A reset may cancel out the radio coming on automatically from start up.

For what it's worth the factory fitted radio in my Contemporary sometimes won't turn on using the power button, but pressing the steering wheel channel up/down buttons does kick it into operation.
