Blocked plenum.
Ok, so this morning Debs diesel wouldn’t start. Just checked the plenum to find it was well and truly flooded.
Couldn’t get the rod down the tube to drain it, upon removing the tube I found d a Bl00dy grommet fitted perfectly inside the drain tube! What’s the chances eh? M

Where did it come from? What were the chances of that happening?

First time I had flooded carpets was due to one of the windscreen clips perfectly blocking the lower drain. Second time was when I pushed through the spyhole mod bung and did not recover it in time. Constant problems due to pine needles where I have to park my car blocking the drain tubes.
Problem now resolved, Plenum drain tubes under servo and lower drain now removed, 2 big holes right through to the ground, spotlessly clean, you could put a hose pipe in there and it would all drain out. No more blockages ever again! |
