Default Power seat removal without power

Hi

I am going to get a replacement interior for the Aubergine 75 I have just got, it is available & relatively cheap so will keep in in event of emergencies, as I guess they will become more difficult to find over the years.

It is at a salvage yard, it there a good way to remove them as the power seats have obviously got no power going to them to move them back.

Dominic

You'll have to unplug directly on the motor and the connectors are round pins, so two length's of cable get some female round pin connectors on the ends and a battery and away you go.

car i took my seats from i could not power up as the loom was hacked in so many places so all i did was unbolt the motor and pull the like speedo cable out and pused it back into the rail side and used the drill as the motor inching it back on each side to get to the bolts

like Craig says, you can also wind them by hand, takes a while - but when needs must....
