I sold my collection around six years ago, We got someone out who was a vinyl collector from the Manchester area who advertised on the internet.
I cant remember his name now but I'll see if the Missus can remember.

Very knowledgable chap who knew what was what and paid a good price for the right records, mostly albums.
He didn't take them all though but spent around two hours picking out the "Good un's"

just sold all my singles via Ebay. All the songs can be downloaded from youtube so I'm not missing anything.

making a start on listing on ebay ,BUT it is so time consuming initially..OK when its on , if not sold the relisting is quick .The other thing is , packaging .The cartons to post them in are probably too expensive for what people want to pay..UNLESS really rare and valuable>Its quite a lot of what some may describe as unfashionable , but they are great albums for the most part...I actually listened to some of the music whilst listing via youtube channel and almost stopped listing ..BUT head has to rule heart ..need to declutter before I get too old and leave a burden for my daughter.NOT only that , now I am a grandfather of 1 and a second due in March next year .I have to turn my storage into a bedroom again for visits..
