I've read that genuine Mintex pads will squeal!

And create loads of brake dust on the wheels.

Best avoided IMO.

OK, so this explains why mine are always covered in brake dust. When I bought her, the advert claimed 'Mintex pads'. Best brakes I've ever had (190 discs and calipers) but permanent dirty wheels. No squealing though.

I’ve used Mintex for years and had neither squealing or excessive dust
Always get a little more dust for a few miles when new but nothing that you’d call excessive.

i purchased front and rear pads and discs from this seller at the beginning of the year, they seem good sellers with good prices. when i received them they were all in sealed mintex boxes with the hologram seal. they stop the 180 with next to no effort at all. i would buy them again if the prices were still good.

Judging by Brian's post elsewhere, may not be any use Ian but
