Failed drop link test?
I have knocking at the front at low speed bumps.
If I push the front anti-roll bar up, im getting a knocking noise. Is this the drop link knocking?

Yes indeed it is.
When you replace them, pack the new ones with grease. I found the ones supplied had no grease at all in them so what chance have you got. |

I only fitted them last Nov which is about 7K miles. Im disappointed because they are the new DMGRS ones from China.

Many are a steel ball in a "plastic" cup and normal "grease" may damage the plastic. The modern title of "lubed for life" comes to mind. Manufacturers with limited experience of the quality of their plastics and steels seem to be flooding the market with spares of dubious quality. Research and development of decades has gone down the pan with the loss of our motor industry! If you do lube these joints, make sure you know what materials are in the joints and use a suitable lubricant or risk premature failure due to incompatible products.

My new ones have just turned up and they are strapped up. Metal spring ring on the big seal and some sort of plastic on the smaller seal. Can I just cut the small plastic seal and then zip tie it? |

The metal spring is just like a keyring, simply open it & remove or slide out of the way. Then you can apply grease. Just done mine this way
