Default SD1 Estate Car ???

Just seen a photo of an SD1 Estate Car LOE 99P in gold.
I can honestly say I have never seen or heard of an SD1 Estate.

Is it a photoshop ?? A wind up ?

Sorry I don't know how to transfer photos from Facebook, in any case, there is no share button.

I'm pretty sure there's a gold 1 at the motor museum at Gaydon, in a section with prototypes.

I thought I saw a prototype at Haynes Museum down in Sparkford a few years ago.

Quick update; it was 7 years ago and I took a photo.

It's down in the British transport museum now. Its an excellent car an a wasted opportunity sadly. Like many things linked to the brand.

Most likely where this idea came from, I think the R40 Tourer looks 100% better.

Default Home built version.

At least the official prototypes look a together design. I find them quite pleasing to the eye. This is a home built homage to the SD1 estate.

Meh.
