Yep, was a TAZU; bearing compleely shot after a little over a year - maybe 10,000 miles. Replaced with an OEM unit, whatever they are nowadays, but it wasn't metal, so not TAZU.

That's the 3rd replacement in he time I've had the car - next time, I get the matches out

With the short journeys I do since retirement, maybe time for a Nissan f'ing Leaf anyway

Just get an Auto 75 and you can forget all about clutch hydraulics.

I had cruciate ligaments damaged, so bought an auto. I love it now!

Yes you have a point but I've never owned an auto in my life... but I've had this one 9 years, and spent a lot of money on it recently, so I have to try and make it last...

I have used only 1 replacement slave in 98K miles. Original factory fit to 68K then the present LUK plastic one, so 30K so far with this one. When it was fitted the master cylinder was flushed through completely with new fluid until all clean. Fingers kept crossed.

another item to consider replacing if the slve has developed premature issues is one of these
https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/02...G?v=1422460742

Having done plenty of clutches on 75/Zt over time, we noticed several in various states of wear / ridges etc.
If the sleeve is ridged / stepped etc, this will affect the motion of the slave in quite a bad way, maybe worthwhile getting one in there together with a decent slave and put the issue to bed once and for all !

I have one here if you decide to replace it, and can sort out a deal for you.
