Young Pied Wagtail

Been watching this grow over the last few days in our back garden. Its' parent kept flying onto our roof and leaving it to fend for itself while still keeping a close eye on it.
Managed to get a few shots of it, here's a couple of the best

Lovely picture I like to watch thos wagtails bobbing about on my lawn.
Last year an adult or may a young one with all it`s colours flew into my pattio window, it was only stunned but that same week a blackbird did same and sadly croaked, last month another blackbird did it and knocked itself out but survived.
It must be the reflection looking like open sky.

Maybe you shouldn't clean your windows so often.

A difficult set of photos, given these birds rarely stay in one place for very long. Nice feather details. Please keep posting
