Thank you Ken, I ran out of thanks. Edited in Aurora and Lightroom. it was very hot at around 40C and the sky was hazy with the heat and it was non-descript, so I cropped most of it out. I really felt for the animals with their furry coats, as they must have been roasting in it. Thank goodness the water hole was there. Out of view was the remains of a devoured Water Buffalo, stripped to the bones by a pride of Lions and too gruesome to post up. The 'kill' was enough to keep away their hunger for 5 days.....

Great photo Phil, having seen many wildlife films of crocs taking animals at watering holes I now expect one to leap out but hopefully this was one " safish " for the Zebra ( apart from the Lions ! )
