Default Exhaust trims. Your opinion please

I've fitted a couple of exhaust pipe trims. I've posted some pictures in the image gallery. Please see what you think and let me know whether you like them or not. As normal, when ever I add something to my car I'm not sure!

John, they remind me of my old 620GSDi. They seem to point downwards a little or is it the angle of the shot?

I was coming round to that....but was being gentler about it! I think it is the angle, they need to be straight and have a cut away in the bumper in which to sit.

Thankyou for being honest lads. I agree with both of you. They are straighter than the photo shows. I tried the genuine one thats a bit straighter but it looks odd from the side. The problem is the exhaust pipe ends are very very short.

I think they would look better been shorter level with the bumper trim and as Zeb says a cut away cut in to the bumper.

you know a set the other side would looks even better

I wonder if one of these bling motorshops might not have one that is a better fit?

You could get one of those nice metal edges to go around the cutaway like the V8 has?

They may have. I've tried a few different types now. The genuine Rover one sticks out even further and looks odd from the side because it curves up. Although it does look straighter. Oh mega plop it took me ages yesterday to get them that straight!
