On midday news today the small guy claimed to have had a valid ticket and that the ticket inspector got it wrong. If that proves to be the case his claim of assault may well be upheld. I'll watch with interest, I is all ears.

If he had a valid ticket then I suspect he would have been waiving it around at all the reporters that have contacted him. Who to believe, the rude man trying to blag a free ride or the conductor who probably checks hundreds of tickets a day and will know what a valid one looks like?

He was only little and there was plenty of room.
And would the big fat bloke have done the same if it had been another big fat bloke? |

Or a pensioner, whats wrong with taking his name and address or putting him off at the next station why did the collector refuse to move the train which put all the other passengers against one passenger so not surprised at what happened, also turns out that the guy pushed off was a diabetic and all his possessions were left on the train so consequences could have been a lot worse

Totally stupid taking the law into his own hands. If there had been a serious incident and the guy had been injured and died then he might have spent a lot of his life in prison for something that was NOT his business.

I'm sorry but what absolute rubbish. 'He was a diabetic, he was confused, he was just a little boy' etc etc, it's just rubbish. What he was is an obnoxiousness free-loader who was attempting to get a service for free that everyone else had paid for and became insulting and disrespectful when challenged. If everyone all of a sudden decided that it was OK not to pay for things where would we be as a society?
As at least 2 of the other passengers have said they would have paid for his ticket except for the fact that he had such an attitude. Even the bloke himself has said that he doesn't condone the way he behaved. I dare say that had he acted differently the conductor would have been far more lenient in return however given his behaviour I think the only option left was for him to be removed from the train. As for him being a diabetic and leaving his bag on the train I'm sure in the video you see another passenger throwing out to him.
