Default Clarkson's Nemesis

Just joined the ranks of the caravanners this afternoon.

Bought a 4 berth van with all the extras- the only thing we will need extra is a 12V freeview telly.

So, whilst the cheque is clearing Id better get round to fitting the towing bracket to Black Olive ( have a nearly new rover detachable with electrics kit in the garage).

One of the best things I found about caravanning was it is a great social leveler. No airs and graces, everybody is treated as an equal.

Another thing is setting up your van putting the kettle on and sit and watch Mr & Mrs newbie try and set the awning up for the first time The worse the weather the funnier it gets.

Sure you will have many a happy day and meet some new friends.

Then watching Mr. Newbie start a BBQ and burn the awning down

I hope when you look into your mirrors and see the 30 mile Que of traffic behind you ,you are looking for a 75 or ZT so then you will pull over and let the other cars past pulling out again once the member has passed (if not a member have a club flyer to hand)

Mines a static van I only drag a boat or jet/ski to it once a year

Enjoy and have fun when ever you get the chance cos IT WILL RAIN next week when you plain to drag it away.
