Default Towing mirrors

One for the white box draggers. ( do we need a caravanners sub forum ???)

are the X part towing mirrors the ones to go for ??
there are some with the van Im picking up, but havent seen them and am guessing they will be universal ones

I use universal ones and had no problems (check out the Towsure site)

Just be certain to stay abreast of legistration and check that the mirror you intend to purchase has a E 11 number on it. These are definately supplied by melenco and has kev states can be bought from our competiter Towsure aghhhhhhhhh lmao

They don't have to have E11 just a number prefixed by E. E11 is the code for the UK however any that are type approved in the EU are legal.

thanks for the useful advice. Milenco appears to be the way to go,assuming the ones that come with the van arent suitable

The ones I use, see previous post clamp onto the top of the mirror housing without altering the car mirror setting. I find with the Milenco mounting clamps that once set and adjusted they always go back on in the same position without having to reset them every time.

The large rectangular ones used in the vertical position allow you to see the whole hight of the van.
